Mastercraft Shutters
For many years Mastercraft Shutters
manufactured custom interior shutters. The shutters were sold
by distributors throughout the United States. Mastercraft Shutters
supplied both wood and vinyl shutters, but decided to stop selling
shutters in early 2006.
Mastercraft shutters were sold as painted,
stained, and unfinished wooden interior shutter to companies
to then sell to home owners. These interior shutters were marketed
as hand-made kiln dried wood shutters which could be used for
commercial or home applications. They offered oversized panels,
speciality woods, special shapes, and beveled glass inserts.
Mastercraft Shutters offered a "unconditional
lifetime warranty" which obviously now will not be honored.
The popularity and demand for shutters as a
permanent window treatment is on the rise. There is increased
competition in the industry which may have threatend the success
of Mastercraft.
